You’ll want to follow in his footsteps, shoe by shoe! Heading back to Broadway as Vlad Popov in Anastasia: The Musical, John last appeared on the Main Stem as The Captain and Hennessy in Dames at Sea. Additional Broadway credits include roles in A Christmas Story (Drama Desk nomination), Curtains, Spamalot, Contact, How to Succeed… and Damn Yankees, to name a few. Regional/Off-Broadway work includes: Pageant (Off-Broadway), Show Boat (San Francisco Opera), Guys and Dolls (Carnegie Hall), and Disaster! (New World Stages). On television, Bolton has made appearances on Madame Secretary, Elementary, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, in addition to his recurring role as Bruce Caplan on the CW’s Gossip Girl. He has also sung the National Anthem for both NFL and NLB teams. |
